Sunday 10/11/2026 at 6:00 PM

Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, this dynamic gospel music group was formed in 2005 with a clear mission: to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful music and heartfelt ministry. Founded by Jason Funderburk, son of legendary Cathedral Quartet member Danny Funderburk, the group continues a legacy of Gospel music excellence and anointing.

With a strong heritage behind him, Jason has carried the torch forward, using his God-given calling to lead the group as both owner and founder. From their early days to the present, the group has remained committed to full-time ministry, traveling extensively across the United States and Canada. Though the global pandemic temporarily paused their touring schedule, they are now actively traveling and ministering again, bringing hope and encouragement wherever they go.

Known for charting songs such as “Between The Rock And A Hard Place,” “Story Of My Life,” and others, their music resonates with people from all walks of life. The group’s lineup includes talented vocalists Scott Penuel (Tenor), Jason Funderburk (Lead), Chris Powell (Baritone), and Alan Knight (Bass)—each bringing a unique voice and heart for ministry to the stage.

Their core purpose remains unchanged: to uplift the hurting, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and lead people into a life-changing relationship with Him. Every note they sing and every mile they travel is Driven by a deep commitment to this calling.

Sunday 11/08/2026 at 6:00 PM

Some combination of The Montgomery Family has  been singing as a family ministry since 1971.

What started as parents with two young daughters has changed with the girls growing up, marriage, starting families, etc. The group today consists of the two sisters, Robin Montgomery Stegall, Lisa Montgomery Simpson, and Lisa’s husband, Jeff.

The core of The Montgomery’s ministry has always been in the local church. The goal is to provide southern gospel music, strong lyrics, and testimony that will bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To the Christian, it’s our desire that they will leave the concert with a closer walk with the lord. For everyone, leaving the event talking about how good the Lord is.

The Montgomery’s also perform in auditoriums as well as outdoor events, for gospel sings as well as civic functions, and church socials.

Their concerts utilize a mix of soundtracks, as well as some music with the piano or a cappella. The program will include some of today’s favorite current gospel songs, as well as some of the classics in hopes that something will appeal to every generation in your congregation.

Down East Boys

Harvest Chapel of Venice is proud to present Down East Boys

Sunday 01/10/2027 at 6:00 PM

Since their inception in 1985, the Down East Boys have been making great music.  A mainstay in the Gospel Industry, their name is synonymous with classic quartet harmony and songs that have stood the test of time.  Though their tenure as a leading quartet spans several decades, their music remains relevant and their name is consistently at the top of the radio singles chart. Despite their success and the many accolades that have come their way, their goal remains the same as it was when they started—to take the Gospel of Jesus to all the world.

Lead vocalist Ricky Carden joined the group in 1990 at the young age of 19.  He became the owner in 1994 and, under his management, the group has continued to thrive. He is joined by tenor Doug Pittman, baritone Cayden Howell, and bass Brandon Barry. This group of men continues to thrill and inspire audiences all across North America. While their name depicts the area of eastern North Carolina from which they are based, the Down East Boys have no boundaries on where they are willing to take their music.

Musically, this group has given gospel music many treasured and popular songs. Early in their career, their single “Beautiful Valley” stayed on the top 40 of the Singing News Radio Chart for ten months and solidified Down East as a nationally known artist. It would be this song that would prompt readers of Singing News Magazine to vote the quartet the Horizon Group of the Year in 1990.  More recently, the group has topped the charts several times with songs such as “Beat Up Bible,” “Testimony Time,” “I’d Like To Tell It Again,”  “Amazing Amounts Of Amazing Grace,” “Love Worth Dying For,”  and “Something To Shout About.”

The Down East Boys have graced the stages of the biggest musical events in gospel music, including National Quartet Convention, Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, The Ark Encounter, Memphis Quartet Show, Singing In The Sun, and Singing At Sea Cruise. Whether they’re performing on a large concert stage, the local church, dinner theater, fair, or an evangelism conference, their music resounds with the love, joy, and peace that comes from the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ which they continue to share with great passion.

Matched with the seriousness of their calling, The Kramers shine with an undeniable love for The LORD. The beauty of this relationship is clearly evident not only through the anointing of their music, but also their godly love for everyone they meet.

One cannot attend a Kramers concert without being touched. With Rachel’s beautiful, soaring soprano voice, Maria’s tender, heartfelt delivery of beautiful lyrics and smooth family harmonies, many doors of opportunity have now opened nationally. The Kramers maintain a full schedule sharing at events across the United States and beyond in churches, auditoriums and major concert venues. This increased demand has also led to increased recognition and The Kramers were nominated for “2020 New Artist of The Year” as part of The Singing News Fan Awards. As things have continued to progress for The Kramers, they teamed up with StowTown Records and multi-award winning producer, Wayne Haun for their latest album release entitled, “Soli Deo Gloria”; their fourth album release with StowTown Records. The new project is indicative of The Kramers wide range of musical styles as it offers touching ballads, up-tempo songs with catchy melodies, powerful songs of worship and songs featuring awe-inspiring orchestrations.

At an event with The Kramers, audiences can expect a variety of musical styles featuring beautiful family harmonies and the skilled accompanying instrumentation brought forth by Scott and Ben. Audiences are greatly moved, oftentimes to tears, by the sweet, yet powerful gospel message within each of the musical selections. Top all of this off with a time of hearing personal testimony, along with an opportunity to accept Christ as Savior, and many walk away greatly impacted by the gospel. That’s the hope of The Kramers – to share this gospel Truth with everyone they meet that Jesus is The Living Hope for All Tomorrows!

Testimony Trio

Harvest Chapel of Venice is proud to present Testimony Trio

Sunday 04/04/2027 at 6:00 PM

Testimony is a Southern Gospel Group with a profound mission and a strong foundation, dedicated to exalting Jesus Christ through their music and spreading a message of hope wherever the Lord allows opportunities to arise.Founded in 2001 by Lane LeVan, Testimony began as a trio made up of Lane, his wife Angela, and several gifted artists along the way, including their sons. For nearly a decade, the group traveled extensively, often spending close to 200 days a year on the road, ministering through music to churches and events.

In 2010, Lane and Angela transitioned from full-time travel to serve as music ministry staff in the local church, faithfully pouring into worship and discipleship at home. Now, in 2025, having recently retired from local church music ministry, Testimony returns with renewed enthusiasm and a clear sense of purpose.

The group is thrilled to welcome soprano, Melissa Cates, a longtime friend of the LeVans. In fact, Angela and Melissa first sang together in their very first full-time group back in the late 1990’s, so this reunion feels a little like coming home!

As Testimony embraces this new season, their unwavering mission remains: To uplift believers, win the lost, and glorify the Lord through heartfelt Southern Gospel music, all while enjoying the journey.  The best, they believe, is yet to come!
