Through the ages there have been few voices that have had the power to reach down deep inside of our hearts and move our emotions. RENEÉ ROWAN BASEL can do just that. She defines feeling! As sweet as it is fiery, her voice is an emotional lightning rod that knows and understands.
RENEÉ preaches and sings from the gut. She communicates the exciting message of Christ with sincerity and intensity, which is what makes her such a potent witness. RENEÉ has most recently gained notoriety on social media as The Hump Day Hymn Lady for bringing hymn renditions every Wednesday that are done acapella, unplugged and unrehearsed. RENEÉ is able to connect with a variety of audiences whether it is a Sunday morning church service, a women’s conference, worship event or even a secular event. She sings every genre and style but is known for her gutsy Gospel flare.

Some combination of The Montgomery Family has been singing as a family ministry since 1971.

The core of The Montgomery’s ministry has always been in the local church. The goal is to provide southern gospel music, strong lyrics, and testimony that will bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To the Christian, it’s our desire that they will leave the concert with a closer walk with the lord. For everyone, leaving the event talking about how good the Lord is.
The Montgomery’s also perform in auditoriums as well as outdoor events, for gospel sings as well as civic functions, and church socials.
Their concerts utilize a mix of soundtracks, as well as some music with the piano or a cappella. The program will include some of today’s favorite current gospel songs, as well as some of the classics in hopes that something will appeal to every generation in your congregation.

Harvest Chapel of Venice is proud to present Down East Boys
Sunday 01/04/2026 at 6:00 PM
Since their inception in 1985, the Down East Boys have been making great music. A mainstay in the Gospel Industry, their name is synonymous with classic quartet harmony and songs that have stood the test of time. Though their tenure as a leading quartet spans several decades, their music remains relevant and their name is consistently at the top of the radio singles chart. Despite their success and the many accolades that have come their way, their goal remains the same as it was when they started—to take the Gospel of Jesus to all the world.
Lead vocalist Ricky Carden joined the group in 1990 at the young age of 19. He became the owner in 1994 and, under his management, the group has continued to thrive. He is joined by tenor Doug Pittman, baritone Cayden Howell, and bass Brandon Barry. This group of men continues to thrill and inspire audiences all across North America. While their name depicts the area of eastern North Carolina from which they are based, the Down East Boys have no boundaries on where they are willing to take their music.
Musically, this group has given gospel music many treasured and popular songs. Early in their career, their single “Beautiful Valley” stayed on the top 40 of the Singing News Radio Chart for ten months and solidified Down East as a nationally known artist. It would be this song that would prompt readers of Singing News Magazine to vote the quartet the Horizon Group of the Year in 1990. More recently, the group has topped the charts several times with songs such as “Beat Up Bible,” “Testimony Time,” “I’d Like To Tell It Again,” “Amazing Amounts Of Amazing Grace,” “Love Worth Dying For,” and “Something To Shout About.”
The Down East Boys have graced the stages of the biggest musical events in gospel music, including National Quartet Convention, Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, The Ark Encounter, Memphis Quartet Show, Singing In The Sun, and Singing At Sea Cruise. Whether they’re performing on a large concert stage, the local church, dinner theater, fair, or an evangelism conference, their music resounds with the love, joy, and peace that comes from the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ which they continue to share with great passion.

Harvest Chapel of Venice is proud to present Shannon Smith
Sunday 01/11/2026 at 6:00 PM
In September 2000, Shannon and Kathryn Smith, with oversight given by a ministry accountability team made up of elders from their home church, stepped out into full-time ministry. He traveled as a solo artist for 2 years and then joined The Imperials as their lead singer in September 2002. (The Imperials is a musical group with a rich history in Christian music. Over the years they have won 4 Grammy Awards and 13 Dove Awards. In 1998 the group was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and in 2008 was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame.)
From his very first days as a “preemie” baby when the doctors gave him basically no chance to live, Shannon has been immersed in the power of prayer and the truth of the Word. While he was clinging to life in those earliest days, the Lord whispered to his mother that he would live and minister to people around the world. So when the doctor said, “Don’t plan take this baby home – if he makes it, it will be a Higher Power than me.”, she began to pray and confess the truth of the Word. “He will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord!” (Psalm 118:17)
Shannon was raised in a pastor’s home and because of his parents’ active demonstration of their faith in a real and living God, he came to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Shannon says, “It was at the age of eleven, during revival services at my church, that I confirmed my faith in Jesus and over the next few years I surrendered myself to Him fully and determined to live for Him for the rest of my days.” Through active involvement in his church youth group and Christian school as well as opportunities for volunteer service, he began to sense God’s leadership into ministry. He sought to prepare himself through Biblical and musical education and practical development of his musical talent. He then began to pursue ministry opportunities whether volunteer or vocational in nature. “The only thing I’ve ever really wanted to do is to share the life and love of Jesus with others. Presenting the beauty of Jesus through the beauty of music and the Word of God is the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done,” says Shannon. “I was born to sing His praises – when I sing, I feel as though He is singing too!”
After 6 years with The Imperials, Shannon left in June 2008 to get off the road and spend some quality time with his family. Not only was singing with The Imperials the fulfillment of a dream for Shannon, it provided several years of “on the road” training and gave him opportunity to more clearly define what God’s calling for him was and was not. He moved to North Miami Beach, FL to serve as a worship leader at Words of Life Fellowship Church. He served there for 18 months and then the Lord said it was time to move on to a new assignment.

Sunday 03/01/2026 at 6:00 PM
The Craguns are a dynamic, family group, comprised of husband and wife, Jordan and Elena Cragun, Ray Cragun (Jordan’s Father) and Savannah Cragun (Jordan’s Sister).
Ray and Victoria Cragun were married on May 26, 1984 and shortly after saying I do, the couple entered full time ministry together when they accepted the call to pastor. They served together in this capacity for 25 years.
During that time, they raised 6 ministry minded children. Music was always a huge part of ministry for the family, as they would sing together during church services, revivals, and camp meetings. As the kids grew older and slowly started leaving home, they would almost all take ministry positions around the country, following in their parent’s footsteps of loving Jesus and serving him with their lives and careers.
In 2013 God officially brought the Cragun family together again from different ministry positions, to embark on the musical journey of a lifetime!
Ray Cragun had just retired from pastoring and Jordan Cragun (Ray’s oldest son) had Just resigned from his former position with another musical group. God started aligning all the pieces for the family to reunite in a powerful way, to do something they had always dreamed of doing… Touring together, in full time Gospel Music.
Since that time, The Craguns have quickly endeared themselves to national & international audiences, touring from coast to coast and different parts of the world.
They are especially recognized by their warm, smooth harmony and strong spiritual emphasis.
Since officially releasing their first album in 2013, The Craguns have been honored to perform in some of the largest venues, radio stations and television shows in gospel music… The National Quartet Convention (Main Stage), The Blue Gate Theater, Silver Dollar City and Daystar Television, just to name a few.
